TAPIF Teaching Programme

The Teaching Assistant Programme in France (TAPIF) is a government initiative that places English teachers in French state schools as teaching assistants. If you meet the requirements for this program, it presents an excellent opportunity to live and work in France.

 

Programme Details & Requirements

The TAPIF teaching program is open to applicants between the ages of 20 and 35.

English teachers will work for 12 hours per week in various elementary or secondary schools. The program runs for 7 months, from October 1st to April 30th.

 

Acceptance Criteria

 

  • B1 level of French language proficiency according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
  • Level of university education.
  • Previous teaching experience.
  • Experience working with children.
  • Experience working abroad.
  • Having a TEFL TESOL qualification would be advantageous.
